Some damage is not covered by private civil liability insurance. You can find the full list in the Smerra student civil liability information document and in the insurer’s general terms and conditions.
In particular, the following are not covered:
damage related to practising a sport professionally, or as an amateur if it is a motor sport;
damage caused while practising sports considered high-risk, such as: mountaineering, bobsleigh, boxing, horse riding, American football, scuba diving with self-contained breathing apparatus, polo, bungee jumping, caving, combat sports, yachting with sailing boats over 5.10 m, nautical or sports competitions, and all aerial sports.
In addition, the legal defence and recourse guarantee does not cover disputes related to a professional activity or an internship, whether paid or unpaid.
