The €5,000 allowance is paid if you fail your exams due to a serious event occurring just before or during the exam sessions:
• an illness resulting in at least 5 days of hospitalization,
• or an accident requiring hospitalization, regardless of its duration,
• or the death of a close relative (father, mother, non-separated spouse or child).
These events must have occurred:
• within the 30 days preceding the start of an exam session,
• or during the session itself, and have prevented you from attending the first and/or second session.
The Solidarité Exam insurance helps secure your year and cover the costs related to repeating a year or re-enrolling.
